The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our Technical Services team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience with complex electromechanical medical devices in a highly regulated environment. You will support product servicing, repairs, installations, customer investigations and continuous improvement activities across Australia and internationally.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose, repair, test and service electromechanical medical devices
- Perform installations, preventative maintenance and in-field validation at customer sites
- Investigate customer complaints and support root cause analysis
- Maintain service and quality documentation in line with ISO 13485 and FDA QSR
- Support cross-functional teams including QA, R&D, Manufacturing and Marketing
- Travel locally and internationally as required
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Electronics, Biomedical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Strong technical aptitude and hands-on mindset
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
- Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Desirable
- Experience in medical devices or regulated industries
- Exposure to ISO 13485, GMP, ERP/CRM systems
