SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

This role plays a critical part in designing, developing, and supporting automated test systems that underpin product reliability, quality, and regulatory compliance across design verification, validation, and manufacturing quality gates.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will design and support sophisticated automated test systems spanning mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-driven architectures. You will work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure robust system performance across development and production environments.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build automated test systems, fixtures, and mechanisms that support product verification, validation, and manufacturing quality.
• Create robust mechanical designs and CAD documentation ready for fabrication and commissioning.
• Develop electromechanical and pneumatic systems integrated with PLC controls.
• Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in R&D and manufacturing.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Apply risk assessment and statistical tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve design and test challenges.

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) and strong CAD capability (SolidWorks or equivalent).
• Experience designing automated mechanical systems, ideally with PLC integration.
• Hands-on testing and problem-solving experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
• A collaborative, curious mindset with the drive to continuously improve.
