SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Nanosonics is an ASX-listed innovator in infection prevention – and we’re growing. As we expand globally, we’re strengthening our Finance team with a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant who will play a critical role across statutory reporting, tax, treasury, and financial control.

About the Role
The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for the monthly close, statutory compliance, consolidation of European entities, tax obligations, treasury support, financial controls, and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.
You will act as a subject matter expert in our D365 ERP implementation and a key partner to regional finance teams, auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders including the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Statutory Reporting
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting, journals, analysis and reconciliations for designated Group entities (specifically Europe).
- Prepare monthly consolidation and elimination entries for regional results.
- Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded in line with policies.
- Support half-year and full-year statutory reporting.
- Prepare revenue and gross margin reconciliations in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Coordinate external audit processes and financial compliance submissions.
Tax Compliance & Transfer Pricing
- Prepare accurate direct and indirect tax and statutory compliance for designated entities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Prepare half-year and year-end consolidated group tax provisions and disclosures.
- Oversee maintenance of tax fixed asset registers.
- Manage intercompany transactions and assist with transfer pricing arrangements and tax governance compliance.
- Monitor legislative changes and assess impacts on the Group.
Treasury
- Partner with our external treasury provider to manage appropriate financial risk controls, hedging programs and working capital.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Support the management of intercompany loans and transfer pricing margins.
Processes, Systems & Controls
- Maintain controlled, efficient master data, fixed asset registers and sub-ledgers for designated entities.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the ERP implementation of Dynamics 365, including training internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process, systems and control improvements across finance.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS / AASB standards and tax reporting obligations.
- Experience in Big 4 or ASX-listed multinational organisations (advantageous).
- Highly systems literate with strong ERP capability (Dynamics 365 experience highly regarded).
- Advanced Excel, data analysis and reconciliation experience.
- ~7 years’ accounting experience.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance + CA/CPA qualification.
- Strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; proactive and agile in approach.
