At Nanosonics, we’re redefining standards in medical technology. We’re seeking a Technical Product Owner to help shape and deliver innovative digital solutions that support our global mission—protecting patients, healthcare workers, and communities through infection prevention.

About the Role

This is a high-impact role where you’ll own the product backlog, champion agile best practices, and act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. You’ll collaborate across engineering, product management, cybersecurity, and cloud teams to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions. Most importantly, you’ll ensure our digital platforms, applications, and systems deliver maximum value to both customers and the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the backlog: Define, refine, and prioritise product requirements, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment with business goals.
  • Bridge the gap: Act as a liaison between business leaders, product managers, architects, and engineers—translating needs into technical deliverables.
  • Drive agile delivery: Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure stories are well-defined and teams are set up for success.
  • Champion technical excellence: Collaborate with architects and engineers to uphold system scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Engage stakeholders: Gather requirements, feedback, and communicate progress, ensuring alignment with strategy and customer needs.
  • Ensure quality: Partner with QA, cybersecurity, and cloud teams to maintain high standards, address technical debt, and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Stay ahead: Keep up with industry trends, tools, and technologies to guide product direction and maintain competitiveness.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Technical Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong experience leading agile ceremonies and managing backlogs for mobile, cloud, or enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (MedTech experience desirable).
  • Knowledge of APIs, databases, cloud platforms (AWS), CI/CD, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Xray).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline (Agile/Scrum certifications highly regarded).

Why Join Nanosonics?

This is more than just a product role—you’ll be shaping the digital backbone of technologies that protect patients and healthcare workers worldwide.

We offer a high-visibility, high-impact position where you’ll collaborate with world-class teams, influence product direction, and ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and performance.
