TECHNICAL SUPPPORT ENGINEER

We are now seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global team and play a key role in supporting our product launch and ongoing service excellence.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Global Service Support Operations Manager, you will ensure maximum uptime and minimum downtime of DV devices in support of new product launches, while also developing service requirements for future innovations. You’ll provide technical service verification and validation (V&V) during the product development cycle, support global service teams and partners, and deliver aftermarket technical support for complex product issues and customer complaints.

This role will suit a hands-on engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is motivated by solving technical challenges with a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure maximum operational uptime for DV devices during product launch.
  • Develop service requirements for new product development and support V&V activities (IQ, OQ, PQ).
  • Provide technical service strategy for Service Spares in new product projects.
  • Deliver aftermarket technical support, including root-cause analysis and customer response for complex issues.
  • Develop, improve, and deliver service solutions, requirements, and training programs.
  • Train and support internal and external engineers in trophon support, service, and repair.
  • Partner with design, manufacturing, and QA teams to support service-related design requirements.
  • Assist distributors in managing special customer requirements and relationships..
  • Support the qualification of new service centres, workshops, equipment, and facilities in line with WHS and QMS standards.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Service Engineer, Support Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Experience in the medical device or other highly regulated industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Manufacturing or process engineering skills, including documentation expertise.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical/electronic manufacturing technologies (plastics, metal forming, PCB assembly).
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering – preferably Biomedical, Mechatronics, or Electronics.
