This role will see you contributing to the design and development of advanced medical devices, bringing ideas from concept to manufactured product in a high-impact, fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Apply practical and creative thinking to solve complex problems
- Participate in brainstorming and idea generation for new product or system designs
- Develop and implement ideas into 3D CAD models
- Produce detailed 3D CAD and 2D drawing packages
- Conduct design reviews and collaborate on concept development
- Conceptualise and develop complex mechanisms
- Perform DFMEA, FMEA, FAI, GD&T, GR&R, and tolerance analysis
- Capture design intent and support patent documentation
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- 1–3 years of mechanical design experience
- Experience with 3D CAD software and technical drawing creation
- Knowledge of mechanical design processes, including injection moulding, sheet metal, extrusion, and rapid prototyping
- Familiarity with FMEA, FAI, GD&T, tolerance analysis
- Experience working in regulated environments such as medical devices is highly desirable
