SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

About the Role
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a team of Manufacturing Engineers while driving process excellence across our production activities. You’ll support supply chain and manufacturing operations to ensure our cutting-edge medical products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing Engineers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
- Deliver engineering support across manufacturing processes for both existing and new products.
- Drive fast response initiatives for line issues, production continuity, and non-conformance investigations.
- Implement and optimise manufacturing processes using Lean, SPC, and data-driven methodologies.
- Lead validation and qualification activities for process changes, equipment, and layouts.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and Design.
- Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, and capacity initiatives.
- Support NPD and roadmap activities with DFM/DFA/DFT input and documentation aligned with ISO13485 and FDA QSR.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives including smart work instructions and performance dashboards.
- Assist in the development of jigs, fixtures, and test systems for assembly optimisation.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role, with 3+ years in a senior capacity.
- Experience in the medical device industry or a similarly regulated electromechanical environment is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in problem-solving (PSM), Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
- Strong technical capability with jigs, tools, calibration, and production equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ideally exposure to SPC tools, SolidWorks/AutoCAD, Altium, or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Mechatronic or Electrical preferred.
