We are looking for a Strategic Materials Planner to drive supply chain efficiency, mitigate risk, and ensure the timely delivery of materials.

About the Role

As a Materials Planner at Nanosonics, you will play a critical role in ensuring material availability across our product portfolio to meet the needs of both internal manufacturing teams and external customers. You will develop detailed and logical supply plans, manage them through an ERP system, and work closely with stakeholders to execute these plans with precision. This is a high-impact role that requires methodical thinking, strong attention to detail, and excellent coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and manage material requirements plans for designated SKUs
• Assess MRP outputs and adjust as needed, including for upcoming engineering changes
• Coordinate and manage ramp-up and run-out activities
• Raise and maintain purchase orders, proactively updating delivery expectations and communicating with suppliers
• Liaise with suppliers to confirm orders, coordinate delivery, and expedite where necessary
• Escalate risks to component supply, including logistics, documentation, or quality issues
• Produce reports to support supply chain effectiveness, such as shortages, forecasts, safety stock levels, and open purchase orders
• Maintain accurate ERP master data for inventory items

Skills and experience:

• 5–10 years in material planning, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Proficiency with MRP systems, Microsoft Office, and experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain best practices.
• Methodical thinker with strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
