What you will do

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will support the Senior Manager to lead and mentor the team.  You will support and supervise all aspects of the manufacturing and production process of our medical devices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide engineering support for new and existing products
• Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers
• Represent Manufacturing at cross functional meetings
• Support fast response line activities, product and process issues as required.
• Lead manufacturing verification, validation, qualification, and implementation activities
• Provide engineering support to new and existing product roadmaps
• Maintain production equipment and technical documentation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, cost, capacity, and routing time

What you will bring

We are seeking an engineering leader with a background in manufacturing within a highly regulated industry, ideally med tech or pharmaceuticals.  You will be a pragmatic problem solver who can take the lead and drive fast-paced, cross-functional projects. You will also be someone who enjoys sharing skills and knowledge to support the development of other engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, ideally Mechatronics or Electrical
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior engineer role in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in medical devices or other highly regulated industry involving electromechanical devices
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, knowledgeable with Problem Solving Methodology’
• Experience in creating and maintaining equipment such as jigs, tools and fixtures through calibration & maintenance
• A passion for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
