What you will do

This exciting contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Engineer to gain experience in an Australian headquartered medical devices company.  Join a supportive and collaborative global Quality team and assist in the development, implementation and improvement of Nanosonics’ Quality Management System processes. 

  • Develop, implement, maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) processes
  • Assist with managing the CAPA system
  • Participate in change control processes
  • Support in design and development and NPI processes from a Quality perspective
  • Act as lead or co-Auditor
  • Collate Quality metrics and KPI data for reporting
  • Provide subject matter expertise on QMS, EN/ISO13485, MDR and FDA requirements

What you will bring

You will be an experienced engineer with recent, relevant experience working in the Quality space.  We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who can step straight into this fast-paced role and support the team.

  • Minimum bachelor’s in engineering or a related discipline
  • 5+ years experience in medical device manufacturing or related, regulated field
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the practical implementation of ISO13485 and FDA CFR 21 part 820
  • QMS auditing experience
  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Working knowledge of Computer System Assurance (CSA).
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
